The project is being supported by the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives, High Commission of Canada, New Delhi and it will be implemented in the Rajasthan State. The key focus of the project will be on the issue of “rural livelihood” aiming specifically upon promotion of the “non-farm sector”.
The key purpose behind organising the state level launch cum brainstorming workshop is to propagate projects’ aims and objectives amongst relevant stakeholders and draw a short, middle and long term plan of action by incorporating their valuable inputs that will eventually benefit the targeted beneficiaries. The inputs from the workshop will also be helpful in designing the SLOT cum base line survey and training modules.
For the event, the relevant stakeholders i.e. officials representing CSOs, NGOs and concerned departments of the government, trade research institutions, design institutions, consultant agencies, private entrepreneurs (domestic and exporters), SHGs leaders, representatives of different producer/community groups from the rural areas, small scale industries and national/international trade promotional agencies are being invited.
