CUTS Centre for International Trade, Economics & Environment (CUTS-CITEE), in association with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, New Delhi (FES, India) and Indian Merchants’ Chamber (IMC), will be organising a National Consultation of the project entitled, ‘Regional Economic Cooperation in South Asia’ at Mumbai, India, on March 24, 2006.
This consultation is among the series of meetings in various South Asian countries with an effort to gather together country perspectives on the obstacles faced by the region as a whole in enhancing the economic cooperation and to strengthen the process of growth. The consultation will deliberate on the themes such as South Asia Free Trade Agreement (SAFTA), Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Trade Facilitation Measures and Business-to-Business Engagements etc.
