CUTS International Lusaka launched the Better Exploration of Poverty as a Means for Poverty Reduction (BETAMPOR) on 16th January, 2011 at golden Bridge hotel. The Launch meeting was preceded with showcase of a video footage/report of the preliminary visit to Copperbelt and Luapula Provinces (highlighting the poverty strings in the provinces vis a vis trade potential) which was later presented to the Finnish Ambassador by Ambassador Mtesa. Constructive dialogue ensued to which the Finnish expressed happiness and their continued support to CUTS and Government. The media launch was represented by people from the media, the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry (MCTI), the National Implementation Unit (NIU), Board Members, Finnish Embassy representatives notably Finland Ambassador to Zambia Sinikka Antila and Programmes Officer, Emmi Mutale, and CUTS team.
