The Consumer Unity and Trust Society International -CUTS- says Zambia’s vulnerability is due to lack of capacity to cope with conditions, which are difficult to control.
CUTS Centre Coordinator, Simon Ngona also says the price hikes in select food and non-food items, natural disasters, hunger and environment degradation have remained the country’s major challenges.
He was speaking in Livingstone today at a public awareness event.
And Southern Province Deputy Permanent Secretary, Alfred Chingi said an enhanced integrated framework would help increase productivity and competitiveness. / ends muvitv
