Responsibilities include collection of primary as well as secondary data, preparing research reports, writing briefing papers, discussion papers, monographs, viewpoint papers, fact sheets etc. Subjects would mainly relate to legal issues on economic and international law. Law graduates from reputed institutes with minimum 2 years experience in relevant areas are encouraged to apply. Should be a skilled communicator in English, both oral and written, with proficiency in computers. The person should have the ability to translate issues for the layperson and trade negotiators, who are usually civil servants. The job also involves networking with civil society activists on issues relating to economic and international law. The person should not be merely interested in primary research, but should have the inclination to apply the research and have a deep interest in international affairs. Responsibilities include collection of primary and secondary data, preparing research reports, writing briefing papers, monographs, viewpoint papers, fact sheets etc. The job would also involve networking with civil society activists on issues relating to international trade and domestic policy issues.
