9.30-10.00:             Progress in the project & summary of the outcomes of the Launch Meeting

10.00-11.30:             Group discussion on future project activities

1.      National level research. Possible questions for discussion: Does the research outline look realistic? Is it suitable to meet the project aims? How can the research be conducted most effectively? What improvements can be made to the research strategy?

2.      National level advocacy. Possible questions for discussion: How can this be conducted most effectively? What kind of outreach materials are most effective?  What activities can supplement the NRG meetings? What form should the meetings take? How can civil society’s role be maximised?

3.      Regional and international activities. Possible questions for discussion: How can the regional and international seminars be conducted most effectively? How should  cooperation with UNCTAD be managed? What sorts of outreach materials should be produced? What shape should the final advocacy document take? Communication with governments and, in particular, trade negotiators. How can the project feed into the WTO deliberations on investment?
