The achievements of BRICS since the first Leaders Summit held in Yekaterinburg have been significant. With the Delhi Declaration, the mandate has evolved from coordinating positions and sharing ideas on formulating a response to the global financial crisis to one which encompasses a much broader spectrum of themes with specific implementable goals.
